Great Lakes Oktoberfest blew me away last time I had it. But I was really thirsty and haven't had a ton of O-fest's to compare to. I need to try to find Spaten...

Got a Sixer of that. Now it's gone because of the birthday party. And I didn't get but a sip.

Honestly, I would have rather spent the money on Molsen Canadian, at least it is what it is advertised as.

the only thing i really like from bell's (having not tried the $18/sixer stouts) are two hearted and oarsman ale. the rest are lame.

I've had the Redhoptober. It's okay. I think most beers are worth trying. I thought it was going to be a Marzen style, but it is not, it's a bit hoppy. I don't think it fits a style.

Yeah, it doesn't really fit into the normal octoberfest fare. Its basically a fairly malty red that is hopped like an ipa. I thought it was pretty good, but I wasn't looking for a marzen.
